Trend Scanner is a cutting-edge trend indicator designed to accurately determine both current and forecast market directions using an advanced algorithm. This intuitive tool features flexible alert settings that promptly notify you of potential trend reversals.

Ideal for enhancing your trading strategies, Trend Scanner serves as an excellent filter in trend-based trading and provides dynamic levels for stop loss. It also integrates as one of the trailing stop types within the Trading Panel.

To fine-tune your alerts, click the triangle on the left of the information panel. This will display two alert settings options:

1. Alerts On / Off – Configure the chart timeframe for tracking and notifying trend changes.
2. General Alerts On / Off – Set multiple timeframes (e.g., M30, H1, H4) to align the trend direction before receiving notifications of changes.

Input Parameters:

• Max Bars – Adjust the maximum number of bars for trend line display. Lower this value if the indicator causes heavy terminal loading.
• Period – Define the period for the Trend Scanner indicator.
• Multiplier – Set the coefficient for the Trend Scanner indicator.
• Show Alert on Chart – Toggle the display of notifications on the chart.
• Play Sound on Alert – Enable or disable sound notifications for trend changes.
• Push Notification – Activate or deactivate push notifications for trend changes.
• Alerts via Email – Choose to receive trend change notifications via email.
• Alerts on Opened Bar – Enable notifications only on closed bars.
• Sound File – Specify the sound file for notifications.
• Show Panel – Toggle the information panel visibility; disable if terminal performance is impacted.
• Size Panel – Adjust the size of the information panel.
• Color Panel – Set the color of the information panel.
• Color Panel Border – Choose the color for the panel border.
• Color Text – Define the text color in the panel.
• Color Up – Set the color for text indicating upward trends.
• Color Down – Set the color for text indicating downward trends.
